Why do I need a website?
Websites work. No matter what your business or profession, a website generates business and promotes goodwill among customers and prospects. Having a website will attract new customers to your business and make you more money. A study by Google found that digitally advanced businesses earned 2 times as much revenueper employee.
What is the main difference between Sourcery and website builders (Squarespace, Wix, etc.)?
Website builders have been around for well over 15 years and let you create your website without any coding knowledge. That’s great but you still need to:
- be a designer to choose and edit one among hundreds of templates
- produce your own high-quality content
- optimize your site for the customers you want
- decide how your site should be structured
- update your site every once-in-a-while to keep it relevant
With Sourcery you don’t have to do any of that. You simply connect your public and social profiles and we keep your website updated, optimized and relevant with an industry-appropriate look and feel.
What if I know exactly what my website should look like?
That’s fantastic and website builders are your best option. For everyone else, Sourcery provides the engaging website experiences that are born out of a decade of user behavior studies and analytics coupled with automated updates and continuous, hands-off website optimizations.
Setting Up Your Website
What happens when I connect my facebook page to my Sourcery website?
When connecting one of your public profiles to Sourcery, we continuously check it for changes to ensure that your visitors always see the latest content available for your business. There is no need to update or optimize your site yourself, and you can manage all your content on the platforms your already use for that.
What if I want to hide or change some of the content from my profiles?
Most of the content displayed on your website can be hidden or replaced manually. To replace or hide content, refer to the Editor of the corresponding Feature.
What does “Optimized for each visitor” mean?
Unlike website builders, Sourcery generates dynamic websites. Because of that, your site is automatically updated and optimized to provide the best possible experience to the visitor currently visiting it.
